SMART FARM

Smart Farm & Water Automation

Pump control, timers, sensors and water-management systems designed around irrigation zones, water sources and real farm operation.

CHALLENGE

Start from the problem that actually needs solving

Good automation does not start with buying sensors. It starts with irrigation zones, water source, pumps, valves, connectivity and how the farm actually operates.

Best suited to: Orchards, farms, agricultural plots, irrigation systems and sites seeking less manual pump/valve operation

ENGINEERING APPROACH

Collect the right data before selecting equipment

  • Survey the site and irrigation zones
  • Review pumps, water source, valves and electrical supply
  • Select timer, sensor, pump control or IoT only where useful
  • Keep operation and troubleshooting practical for the site team
Energy and water systems for an agricultural site

SCOPE

A practical scope for the first site discussion

  • Site and zone survey
  • Control and water-system design
  • Equipment installation and system connection
  • Configuration, testing and user handover

OUTCOME

What should become clearer after the site survey

  • Reduce repetitive manual switching
  • Control water by zone and schedule more clearly
  • Create a foundation for future sensors or remote control
Equipment, warranty, timeline and pricing are confirmed from verified site information and the final project quotation.

Frequently asked questions

Questions before a Smart Farm site survey

Does Smart Farm require internet all the time?

Not always. Some timers and local controls can operate locally, while remote monitoring/control normally requires connectivity. The design should match the farm’s actual need.

Can it work with an existing pump or irrigation system?

Potentially, if the existing pump, electrical control, valves and equipment condition are compatible. Existing-system information should be collected before control design.

Should the project start with sensors or the water system?

Start with the water requirement: source, volume, irrigation zones, pumps and operating schedule, then select sensors, timers or IoT only where they solve a real need.

Can the system keep operating if the internet goes down?

Critical functions should be designed with suitable local control or manual fallback so essential operations can continue even when remote connectivity is unavailable.

Can I start small and expand the Smart Farm system later?

Yes, if zones, controls, cabling, pump capacity and space for future equipment are planned from the beginning. Future expansion goals should therefore be discussed during design.
